As Chair of the upcoming ISBBB 2014, I am very pleased to welcome you to the International Symposium on Bioplastics, Biocomposites & Biorefining. ISBBB is a continuation of the popular International Conference on Biocomposites, the 12thof which was held in May of 2012 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This conference is the first of its kind to combine the engaging areas of biobased materials and biorefinery research in an exciting week-long event. By bringing together world leaders in the fields of bioplastics, biocomposites and biorefining, we will strive to inform, engage and enlighten you. We are also very excited to inform you that selected manuscripts will be published in two special issues of the Journal of Biobased Materials and Bioenergy, with one issue geared towards biocomposites and biopolymers, and the other highlighting research in the area of advanced biorefinery (including value-added applications of biofuel co-products). These manuscripts will be peer-reviewed according to JBMB's policies. We look forward to seeing you on May 19, 2014 in Guelph! Sincerely, |
